Do you play Xbox Cloud Gaming but it won’t capture screenshots or game clips of your game? Well, we’ve comberan some good news.

A new Xbox Insider pembaruan for the invite-only Alpha-Skip Ahead and Alpha rings now fixes an issue “where game clips and screenshots could not always be captured while cloud gaming.”

The updates on both rings also include fixes for issues with disc-based game updates, and video settings like 4K 120Hz and variable refresh rate being disabled after remote play.

It also improves Narrator readout in chats and addresses problems with Dolby Vision detection. Other than that, they make sure that local languages are reflected correctly across the console.

Known issues include detection problems with Dolby Vision on certain TVs. The pembaruan will be mandatory from 3:00 a.m. PT on February 20, 2025, and users can provide feedback via “Report a Problem.”

Microsoft’s push in Xbox Cloud Gaming continues as the company opened its preview back in December 2024. You can “play Xbox without an Xbox” as long as you have the Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription, a Bluetooth-enabled controller (even if it’s PS5’s DualSense), and devices like your laptops, PCs, smartphones, or even smart TVs.

Microsoft boss Satya Nadella previously praised the “strong momentum for Xbox Cloud Gaming.” The company recorded at least 140 million hours streamed in the last quarter and its PC subscriber base experienced a 30% jump as Xbox Cloud Gaming requires these subscriptions.
