Google Ads has introduced new updates to make creating ads easier and more effective, thanks to AI.
The platform’s latest feature allows advertisers to generate realistic images of people for their campaigns. With the help of Imagen 3, you can now create images of adult people through text prompts, making it simpler to build ads with human characters.
Google reassures that these AI-generated images will meet strict guidelines to ensure quality and avoid issues like depicting minors, celebrities, or sensitive content. Each AI-created image will be labeled with a “SynthID” tag for transparency, like on Google Photos.
As Google explains, “With the help of Imagen 3, we’re now rolling out the ability to use text prompts to generate images that contain adult people and faces.”
Other than that, Google is also offering new suggestions for creating ads that better connect with specific audiences. These recommendations highlight themes and elements that work well with particular groups, allowing advertisers to tailor their visuals for more effective results.
And for retailers who don’t have extra creative assets, Google is also launching a beta program where they can test the impact of adding AI-generated images, text, and videos to their campaigns.
These updates let you create more engaging and visually appealing ads, ultimately driving better results for businesses. The new features are available through Google Ads Manager.
Earlier this month, Google began rolling out SynthID to mark AI-generated images edited with the Reimagine tool in Magic Editor on Google Photos. This technology embeds a digital watermark that makes it easier to identify content created or modified using generative AI.
